Welcome to the new Language Weaver Blog! (LW Blog for short)
So why did Language Weaver decide launch its own blog? Quite a few reasons…

First, there are lots conversations on the web about machine translation, automated translation, statistical machine translation, and translation in general. While we often responded to other bloggers’ postings, we didn’t have a way to start our own thread. We thought a blog would be a great way to open the door to new conversations and give readers another way to reach Language Weaver.

Second, there has been a huge increase in the demand for translation which means that more companies are looking for ways to automate the translation process. Data sheets and whitepapers are great resources for information, but we are finding that more and more people also like to get information from blogs.

Third, because Language Weaver is in the business of developing the state-of-the-art automated translation software, there are a lot of interesting things going on within the company. While we cannot share all of them, we will keep readers up to date on new developments and what we are doing to meet customer needs.

And finally, there is a lot of incorrect and outdated information floating around about automated translation software. We plan to use this blog as a place to post new and updated information and to offer our opinion on other articles and postings.

We look forward to your comments and contributions on "LW Blog." We hope you will subscribe to this blog so you can receive up to date information about automated translation.

Sincerely,
The Language Weaver Team
