Language Weaver’s Government User Event was a big success on June 17, with more than 40 attendees gathering in the Washington D.C. area to learn more about government applications for automated translation solutions.

The user event followed on the heels Language Weaver’s participation in the Human Language Technology Showcase in Washington in April, hosted by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).

Nick Beamish, Senior Human Language Technology Advisor at the DIA, recently sat down for a podcast to discuss the HLT Showcase — and share some examples of the use of automated translation in the federal government. You can listen to the podcast here:
